  1. This exercise is the counterpart to the one in which the back of the head is pressed against the wall. Accordingly, the antagonists of the muscles addressed in the latter are generally strengthened. The flexors of the cervical spine are therefore at the forefront here. These muscles are relatively weak in quite a few people. If it seems difficult to lift the head in the supine position, this is a sign of this. On the other hand, a head forward posture that is often maintained over a long period of time contributes to the loss of strength in these muscles. There are several factors that favour this
    1. Too great a distance from the monitor when working at a screen
    2. Too high a resolution of the monitor during VDU work. Larger monitors would generally be preferable to smaller monitors, but the size advantage is often more than cancelled out by higher resolutions, i.e. smaller displays. the lpi (lines per inch) value provides information about the size of the display. The higher the value, the smaller the non-scalable elements are displayed. Of all common monitors, the good old 19″ monitor with 1280 * 1024 pixels still offers the best visible display.
