Origin: Ramus inferior ossis pubis of the pubic bone
Attachment: proximal part of the labium mediale of the linea aspera of the femur
Innervation: Nervus obturatorius from Plexus lumbalis from L2-L4
Antagonists:
Movement: Flexion and adduction as well as slight exorotation of the thigh in the hip joint
