Origin: facies dorsalis ulnae, interosseous membrane
Insertion: terminal phalanx of the thumb
Innervation: Nervus interosseus posterior from Ramus profundus of nervus radialis with fibres from C7 and C8
Antagonists:
Movement: extension in all thumb joints, radial abduction of the thumb
