Origin: lateral-ventral pubic bone, laterally next to the origin of the adductor longus muscle
Attachment: Linea pectinea, labium mediale of the inner upper femur
Innervation: Nervus obturatorius from plexus lumbalis from L2-L4; additionally nervus femoralis from Plexus lumbalis from L2-L4
Antagonists:
Movement: Flexion, exorotation and abduction of the thigh in the hip joint
