  1. 1. processus medialis tuberis calcanei of the calcaneus
  2. 2. retinaculum musculorum flexorum, superficial leaflet
  3. 3. aponeurosis plantaris

Attachment: medial sesamoid bone of the 1st metatarsal and medialplantar proximal phalanx of the hallux
Innervation: Nervus plantaris medialis from N. tibialis from S1 and S2
Antagonists:
Movement: Abduction and plantar flexion in the metatarsophalangeal joint
