Origin: Epicondylus lateralis humeri as well as lig. collaterale radiale, lig. annulare radii, fascia antebrachii
Attachment: Dorsal side of the proximal phalanx and capsule of the metacarpophalangeal joints of fingers 2-5
Innervation: Ramus profundus of Nervus radialis from C6 and C7
