- Stand in tadasana. Place one hand on the back of the inner upper thigh.
- Straighten the pelvis, even beyond the vertical if in doubt, and palpate the tension in the inner hamstrings. You should be able to feel the recurring tension in the semimembranosus and semitendinosus as you alternate between actively straightening the pelvis and releasing it.
