scapulohumeral muscle of the shoulder girdle, as external rotator of the arm extending from the middle inner shoulder blade to the posterior outer upper humerus.
Origin: Infraspinous fossa of the lower inner posterior scapula
Attachment: Tuberculum majus or facies musculi infraspinati of the upper posterior humerus
Innervation: Nervus suprascapularis from plexus brachialis (C4-C6)
