Origin: medial and lateral edge of the plantar calcaneus
Attachment: lateral edge of the tendon of the flexor digitorum longus
Innervation: Nervus plantaris lateralis from N. tibialis from Plexus sacralis
Antagonists:
Movement: Plantar flexion, increases the effect of the flexor digitorum longus muscle
