Instructions
- Assume janu sirsasana.
- If possible, push with the opposite elbow from the outside against the straight leg to place the upper body on the straight leg, not exactly straight but further away from the bent leg.
Details
- The parsva janu sirsasana is a twisted version of janu sirsasana with the leg stretched out and causes a more intensive stretching of some of the autochthonous back muscles in the lumbar spine area. This is very helpful for lumbago.
